Job description
We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sustainability and Carbon Emissions Consultant to join a renowned Consulting Firm based in London. The role focuses on implementing Sustainability practices and Carbon Footprint initiatives for a diverse range of clients across industries, helping them navigate the complex landscape of sustainability and environmental responsibility.
Responsibilities
As a Sustainability and Carbon Emissions Consultant, you will be a key player in their mission to guide clients towards sustainable practices and reduce their carbon footprint. You will work closely with clients to assess their current environmental impact, develop sustainable strategies, and implement carbon emissions reduction initiatives.
- Environmental Assessment: Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients' current environmental practices, identifying areas for improvement and carbon emissions reduction.
- Strategy Development: Collaborate with clients to develop tailored sustainability strategies that align with their business goals while minimizing their environmental impact.
- Implementation: Assist clients in implementing sustainability initiatives, tracking progress, and ensuring compliance with environmental regulations.
- Data Analysis: Analyse environmental data and trends to provide insights and recommendations for further sustainability improvements.
- Client Engagement: Build and maintain strong client relationships, serving as a trusted advisor on sustainability and carbon emissions reduction.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in environmental science, sustainability, or a related field (Master's degree preferred)
- Proven experience in sustainability consulting, carbon emissions reduction, or a related field
- Deep knowledge of environmental sustainability practices, carbon accounting, and emissions reduction strategies
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and client-facing abilities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Passion for sustainability and environmental responsibility
