As an M&A Director, you will lead the company’s mergers and acquisitions strategy, identifying and evaluating investment opportunities within the renewable energy sector. You will play a pivotal role in executing large-scale transactions, negotiating deals, and ensuring strategic alignment with the company's overall growth objectives. You will also work closely with the executive team to shape the company’s M&A pipeline, manage relationships with external stakeholders, and oversee due diligence processes.

Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end M&A processes, from deal origination to negotiation, execution, and integration, focusing on renewable energy projects and companies.
- Develop and maintain relationships with industry stakeholders, including developers, investment banks, and financial institutions, to source high-quality acquisition opportunities.
- Conduct detailed financial analysis, valuations, and due diligence on potential acquisitions to ensure strategic fit and value creation.
- Collaborate with the legal, finance, and technical teams to manage transaction structures, contracts, and compliance.
- Present findings and recommendations to senior leadership and the board of directors, providing strategic insights on market trends and potential investments.
- Oversee post-acquisition integration to ensure operational alignment and the maximization of acquired asset value.
Qualifications
- Extensive experience in mergers and acquisitions within the renewable energy or infrastructure sectors, ideally within a private equity, corporate, or investment banking environment.
- Proven track record of executing large, complex transactions in the energy sector, with a strong understanding of project finance and deal structuring.
- Strong financial modeling, valuation, and analytical skills, with the ability to assess and mitigate risks associated with M&A transactions.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and leadership skills, with the ability to influence internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
- Deep knowledge of global renewable energy markets and regulatory frameworks.
- Experience in managing multi-disciplinary teams across finance, legal, and technical domains.

Salary
