Consultant Manager - ESG Reporting, London, UK
Job description
We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Consultant Manager to join a prestigious Consulting Firm based in London. The role focuses on implementing sustainable finance regulations and delivering key ESG projects for financial services clients.
Responsibilities
As a Consultant Manager in ESG Reporting, you will have a significant impact on shaping sustainable finance strategies and assisting clients in managing ESG risks. Your responsibilities will include:
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with sustainable finance regulations such as SFDR, TCFD, MiFID,, ISSB and others on behalf of financial services clients.
- Project Leadership: Lead and deliver essential projects, including net-zero strategies, climate change scenario analysis, responsible and sustainable investment strategies, and Green Bond issuance.
- Risk Management: Assist clients in identifying, monitoring, and managing Sustainability and ESG risks within their operations.
- Market Research: Stay informed about national and international trends and developments in ESG risks, data, and impact methodologies, providing strategic insights to clients.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders at senior levels, including regulatory bodies, peers, market participants, and government entities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or related field (Master's degree preferred).
- Extensive experience in ESG reporting, sustainable finance, or a related field, with a proven track record of success.
- Strong understanding of sustainable finance regulations and ESG risk management.
- Project management experience with the ability to lead and deliver complex projects.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to engage and influence senior-level clients and stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Fluent in English; proficiency in other languages is a plus.
